Holiday Riding Stables Tours
All our rides start and end at our stables. Our horses are small and very tame. No experience necessary.
Trail Ride & Swim With Horses
This journey begins with a look at the local community before meandering through the tranquil beauty of a wooded area. The path crosses the mangrove edged river as it emerges onto Cas en Bas Beach, a long swath of sand lined with coconut palms and kissed by the Atlantic breeze. A ride along the surf ends at Marjorie’s Beach Bar where time is taken to relax and savor this picturesque spot. An optional swim with the horses is the experience of a lifetime.
Three-hour Trek
This trail begins by passing the national cricket stadium before turning eastward along a country road ending with a jaunt down the secluded beach of Commerette. The trail climbs upward affording fabulous coastal views. The undulating terrain encompasses open fields and forest paths before turning along the wooded trail to Cas en Bas. A stop at Marjorie’s allows time to stretch and the option of swimming with the horses before returning, through a local community, to the stable yard.
Four-hour Trek
This ride is quite the adventure, taking the same trail as the two-hour trek before continuing south along rugged cliff faces, open pastures, shrub forests and historical ruins. The circular route then follows the road through a small community and stops at one of the local “shops” for lunch or drinks (not included). A short jaunt past the national cricket grounds returns the trek to the stable yard.
One Hour Lessons
