Born and raised on the island of St. Lucia Fidel Da Breo has been riding, working and training horses for over 37 years. From an early age his parents recognized his love for nature and animals.  His innate love for horses in particular was ingrained in his DNA and by the age of six he’d already decided that Mom and Dad could skip the gifts under the Christmas tree because all he wanted was a horse.  A beautiful chestnut mere named Cherry was their first response to his request.  To Cherry was added Dusty and then Flash, Lightening, and the list goes on.  Before Fidel left school he was the owner of a herd of horses.  A horse riding stable was the natural progression of his lifelong commitment to equestrian sport and care.  He is a horse whisperer, a jockey, a trainer and a black smith all rolled into one.  And when we say a jockey we mean he grew up bareback riding through the bushes sometimes with a bridle and sometimes without.  Fidel is for real!
